PADI Divers carry the most respected and sought after scuba diving credentials in the world. No matter where you choose to dive, your PADI certification card will be recognized and accepted. In fact, on most scuba diving adventures, you’ll be surrounded by other PADI Divers who made the same certification choice you did – to train with the world’s largest and most respected scuba diving training organization.
WHILE WE ARE SHELTERED AT HOME DURING THE COVID-19 QUARANTINE YOU CAN START YOUR PADI SCUBA LESSONS TODAY FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME.
Here is how it works
You will learn about Scuba Equipment, Underwater Environments, and the Science behind scuba diving while completing the academic part of your Scuba Lessons in the comfort of your home or anywhere you have access to the internet.
After all why not have some fun !!!!!!
When you register, PADI will collect the Academic Tuition of $146.25.
Both will be conducted after the Shelter at Home is lifted.
Here are the details :
Orientation - This is the kickoff of Part II of your Scuba lessons. At the orientation meeting we review all the details for your scuba lessons, meet the other students, and learn how to assemble your Scuba Gear. You pick which orientation meeting you want to come to.
Confined Water/Pool Dives - This is where you learn how to dive. During the pool sessions you will learn how to use Scuba Equipment and the various underwater Scuba skills.
Open Water Checkout Dives - There are four required check out dives conducted over two days. During check out dives you will use the scuba skills you learned in the pool in an open water environment. We will schedule your checkout dives during your scuba lessons.
1. What is Included In Your Carolina Dive Center Open Water Certification Class.
Open Water Certification Class is $390 + Your PADI Student Kit $58.95. This includes just about everything. Since you paid $143.25 for the eLearning academics the balance of your tuition will be $246 + Your PADI Student kit which can be paid when your Pool Sessions start. Here is what is included:
Every Student needs their own Personal Gear (Mask, Fins, and Snorkel). This gear MUST be best-fit for you.
We do sell this equipment, provide you a customized fitting, and offer special pricing to our students.
You have several options for your check out dives. After all we want to make this as fun and easy as possible.

2. Are There Age Restrictions For Classes?
Open Water Certification can be earned by youth 10 years or older. There is no upper age restriction for adults. Students who are 10 or 11 years old require some special considerations. For this reason they can be enrolled in a Customized or Private class only. Call us at (919) 341-2787 for more information regarding certification of 10 or 11 year olds.
3. Are There Restrictions For Medical Conditions?
There are some medical conditions that unfortunately may mean you cannot participate in SCUBA.
