This course is a must for all divers. Rescue Diver training provides the knowledge and skills needed to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies. Included are: assists, transports, surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers.
Who this course is for:
• Any certified open water scuba diver who wishes to expand their diver knowledge and skill set
• Anyone interested in becoming a dive leader
The course meets the prerequisite rescue training for Dive Master and Instructor certifications. Note: Adult CPR training (approximately four hours) meets the requirement for Scuba Rescue Diver certification. The Rescue Diver course includes On Line Academics and 1 intensive weekend of diving and diving related scenarios. Cost: $179 + Student Kit.

SOLO Diver - One of our most popular courses, the solo diver program teaches experienced recreational divers how to safely dive independently of a dive buddy or strengthen your buddy team skills. The course stresses on proper dive planning, personal limitations, accident prevention as well as the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for diving solo. You will also learn the additional equipment that is required for solo diving including it’s proper usage and assembly. This is the prefect course for spearfisherman and divers who typically dive more than 100 feet deep off the North Carolina Coast. Requirements include Classroom sessions and Two Boat Dives. Prerequisites: 100 logged dives; Deep and Wreck Specialties or Advanced Specialty

Three academic session and A minimum of eight open water dives including the following required dives: Emergency procedures and rescue ; Deep simulated decompression diving; Limited visibility or night diving; Underwater navigation; Search and recovery – light salvage; Cold Water Diving.
